The Stanners fell short of repeating as CHSAA state champions, but did get that elusive win over St. Joseph by the Sea in the semifinals as Tori Goldbach tossed a complete-game, two-hitter and striking out eight in the win. Next: Season complete

3 St. Joseph by the Sea 16-2 2

The Vikings season ended with a loss – a 1-0 defeat to Archbishop Molloy in the CHSAA state semifinals – but it was a tremendous season for Mike Ponsiglione’s squad, which won a sixth Archdiocesan title in the last eight years. Next: Season complete

The Red Hawks actually had a 1-0 lead after two innings, but then Tottenville scored four in the bottom of the third en route to a 9-1 semifinal win. Still, with Britney Rodriguez returning for her junior year, there’s plenty of reasons for Marco Migliaccio to be optimistic. Next: Season complete
