Their season started fashionably late, but led by transfer Sadie Edwards, the Lady Kingsmen reeled off back-to-back league wins against Mary Louis and Bishop Loughlin.

Fannisha Price had 18 points and Aliyah Cooley added 10 points in a 43-38 win against St. Frances (Md.) at the Festival of the Phoenix tournament last Saturday at University HS in New Jersey.

No. 3 Bishop Ford (7-1)
The focus is now squarely on a match-up against No. 1 Nazareth after an impressive 61-49 win against Archbishop Molloy Thursday.

No. 4 Archbishop Molloy (5-3)
Carolyn Gallagher is having an all-city season, but she’s the only consistent player for the Stanners, who have lost back-to-back games.

Brooklyn bragging rights are on the line for Loughlin, which is coming off back-to-back losses to Molloy and Nazareth, with a non-league tilt against Lincoln.

No. 6 Mary Louis (3-4)
The Hilltoppers made it two straight wins with a convincing victory against Cardinal Spellman on Alumni Night in Jamaica Estates.

No. 7 Christ the King (0-6)
The Royals went 0-4 at the prestigious Nike Tournament of Champions, losing to four nationally-ranked teams.

The Mavericks thoroughly enjoyed their time at the KSA Classic as standouts Christina Rubin and Jamie O’Hare both reached the 1,000-point plateau in the same game.

No. 9 Murry Bergtraum (5-4)
The Lady Blazers haven’t dominated like they’ve done in years past, but Ed Grezinsky’s squad has steadily improved and will no doubt be in the mix come March.

Krystal Pearson had 20 points and 15 rebounds and was one of five players to score in double figures in a solid 72-51 win against Banneker Friday.

The Pilots suffered their first loss of the season at No. 6 Mary Louis last week. Still, there’s a lot to be happy about in The Bronx from improved Spellman.

JFK rallied to defeat Francis Lewis, 49-46, behind Leshauna Phinazee’s 14 points and 11 more from Dealsia Acklin on Friday.

No. 13 McKee/Staten Island Tech (9-1)
Led by Kaitlyn Astel, who had 24 points, MSIT rallied from a 14-point deficit to defeat Curtis last Wednesday.

The Patriots have the talent to make a deep run in the PSAL playoffs, but right now are struggling to play consistently on both ends of the floor.
