The Falcons almost completed a late rally before falling to Hackley 8-7 on Saturday afternoon. Riverdale now prepares to defend its NYSAISAA crown starting this weekend.

2 Poly Prep 10-3 2

The Blue Devils bounced back from a loss to Hackley to finish the regular season with an 18-3 victory against Dalton Monday.

3 Staten Island Academy 5-0 3

The Tigers defeated Chapin, 12-6, May 11 to win the AAIS regular season title, while earning a bid to the NYSAISAA Tournament.

4 Tottenville 10-1 4

The Pirates secured a 14-11 win over Curtis in their regular season finale last Tuesday. The defending PSAL champions will now chase for a second city title.

5 Curtis 10-4 5

Despite losing to Tottenville in the last regular season game, midfielder Taylor O’Gara is the most dangerous player entering the playoffs with 78 goals tallied.

6 Fieldston 6-6 9

The Eagles will be going to the NYSAISAA tournament seeking to build off a commanding 16-3 victory over Horace Mann Monday afternoon.

7 Midwood 9-2 8

The Hornets claimed the second seed in the PSAL playoffs and snapped a two-game losing streak by defeating Stuyvesant. Moriam Soetan (55 goals) and company will attempt to earn their first title appearance.

8 Cardozo 7-4 7

The Judges handily defeated Beach Channel twice in the regular season, but they know it won’t be easy winning a third time against the improved Dolphins Tuesday

9 Mary Louis 4-3 8

The Hilltoppers reached the CHSAA Class A Nassau/Suffolk championship after defeating St. Francis Prep. They will seek to avenge a 13-7 loss just last week to St. Dominic in the title game.

10 Horace Mann 4-8 10

The Lions defeated Dalton, but were handily beaten by Holy Child and Fieldston Monday. Horace Mann awaits a decision if they qualified for the NYSAISAA.
