Syracuse-bound Alvin Cornelius threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to Pat Murphy, rushed for a 12-yard score and had two interceptions to lead the Pirates to a 44-19 win against Campus Magnet to end the regular season.

Bruce Parker Jr. had 19 carries for 90 yards for the Mountaineers in a 21-0 loss to St. Anthony’s in the CHSFL Class AAA quarterfinals Saturday night in South Huntington. Khalik Greenwood connected with Devonte Daniels for a 23-yard score and rushed for an 11-yard TD in a 44-19 loss to Tottenville in Huguenot Saturday. Next: Curtis, PSAL first round (Saturday, Noon)
11. Riverdale Country Day (8-0) (12)
Riverdale continues to roll along, routing Dalton, 40-12, to wrap up an undefeated regular season. Next: TBA

13. Monsignor Farrell (4-5) (15)  Michael Viegas had 22 carries for 79 yards and a touchdown and Paul Quadrato was 19-of-28 for 146 yards in a 32-6 loss to Xaverian in the CHSFL Class AAA quarterfinals. Next: Season complete

In only their first season in class 'AA' Port has made the playoffs with a pretty respectable recordWhile expectations may not be too high for the post season, they have shown promise.
