For the 12th year in a row, Murry Bergtraum, staked its claim to the PSAL girls ‘AA’ title in a decisive win over John F. Kennedy Academy at Madison Square Garden. The Lady Blazers (25-0) were led by Doris Ortega, who had 19 points and took home the MVP award. Shukurah Washington also chipped in 10 points and 19 rebounds in the 57-38 victory.
