Model Congress

MSG Varsity and the Institute of Domestic and International Affairs have teamed up to present Model Congress, a debate conference where high school students participate in the research and discussion of domestic policy and social issues. The documentary series follows four local high school teams – Ward Melville High School (Long Island), Floral Park High School (Long Island), Highland Park High School (NJ) and Parsippany High School (NJ) - as they prepare and participate in the Rutgers Model Congress, a four-day conference where students simulate a number of Congressional committees and domestic issues, while learning political and legislative processes.
