LONG ISLAND CHAMPIONSHIP

Tim Rowland scored 16 points and Maleek Harris added 13 as the Red Devils rallied from a 14-point first-half deficit to win the Long Island Class B championship at Farmingdale State. Center Moriches (16-7) will play the Albertus Magnus-Burke Catholic winner in the state Regional final at 1 p.m. Saturday at SUNY-New Paltz with a berth in the state semifinals at Glens Falls at stake. Matt Campanella scored 20 and Alex Rawa 16 for the Falcons (13-7), who played in the LIC for the first time in school history.

(4) Center Moriches 67, (2) Babylon 57
Akyse Brown had 24 points and 11 rebounds and Timothy Rowland added 21 points and six rebounds to lead Center Moriches (15-5) to the Suffolk Class B championship. They play Pierson on Friday at Suffolk CC Selden for the Small Schools title. Maleek Harris added nine points, six rebounds eight assists and four steals in the win.

(4) Center Moriches 69, (1) Southampton 67
Akyse Brown scored 24 points, including the winning three-point play with 0.6 seconds left for Center Moriches (13-5) over top-seeded Southampton in a Suffolk Class B semifinal. With the Red Devils down a point, Brown drove the baseline, hit a floater and was fouled. Donovan Trent's free throw had given Southampton a 67-66 lead with 6.4 seconds remaining. Tim Rowland had 15 points, eight rebounds, five assists and four steals, and Maleek Harris added 15 points and nine assists for Center Moriches.
(2) Babylon 44, (3) Hampton Bays 41
Nahari Jenkins had 20 points, including two free throws with 10 seconds left to create the final margin for Babylon (10-5) in a Suffolk Class B semifinal. Max DeMartino scored all of his 11 points in a 22-7 third quarter. Danny Martel had 13 points for Hampton Bays.

(4) Center Moriches 81, (5) Wyandanch 66
Maleek Harris had 22 points, nine assists and five rebounds to lead Center Moriches (13-6) over Wyandanch in an out-bracket game of the Suffolk Class B Playoffs.
CLASS C
LONG ISLAND CHAMPIONSHIP

(N2) East Rockaway 63, (S2) Pierson 27
Justin Jonas had 10 of his game-high 13 points in the first half, igniting a 24-0 run for East Rockaway as they top Pierson in the Long Island Class C Championship over Pierson. Dylan Delury finished with 12 points, Mikey Lores and David McClure each had 10 and Joey Lores added eight. Joey Butts led Pierson with 10 points, including three three-pointers.

(2) Pierson 34, (1) Stony Brook 32
Forrest Loesch (11 points) hit the game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer for Pierson (13-7) in the Suffolk Class C final. Tyler Abrahamsen had 15 points for Stony Brook (12-8). Pierson wins its first county title since 1994.

Caanan Campbell had 23 points and 15 rebounds as Bridgehampton (8-11, 7-7) beat Ross in the Suffolk Class D semifinals at Pierson.
