Christina Klaum scored off a feed from Michaela Lynch to lift South Side to the Long Island Class A girls soccer title. Kelsey Berki had four saves for South Side and Tara Mackey had nine stops for Islip.

(1) Division 2, (2) South Side 3
No. 2 South Side (11-2-4) defeated No. 1 Division (14-1-3) in triple overtime off a goal from Meghan Hines 1:04 into the third overtime period in the Nassau Class A championship match at Denton Avenue Park in New Hyde Park. South Side plays Suffolk champion Islip in the Long Island Championship Saturday at 5 p.m. at Denton Avenue Park.
SEMI-FINALS

(1) Division 3, (5) Plainedge 1
Maggie Carew scored the first goal 12 minutes in and added another midway through the second half for a 3-0 lead to seal the win for No. 1 Division (14-0-3) in the Class A semifinals. Susan Ballantyne added a goal and an assist. Division advances to play No. 2 South Side on Wednesday at Denton Ave.
(2) South Side 1, (3) Garden City 0
Christina Klaum scored off a feed from Katie Ford and Kelsey Berki made 12 saves to lead No. 2 South Side over No. 3 Garden City in the Nassau Class A semifinals Saturday night at Denton Ave. Park. The Cyclones will face No. 1 Division in the finals on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Denton Ave. Park.
QUARTERFINALS

(1) Division 3, (8) Island Trees 0
Ari Weingrad scored off a cross from Sara Pedroza to open the scoring with 16 minutes left in the half to lead No. 1 Division (13-0-1) over No. 8 Island Trees in the Class A quarterfinals. Krista Fitzpatrick added a goal and an assist and Alexa Schneider had a goal. Division advances to the semifinals to play the winner of No. 4 North Shore and No. 5 Plainedge on Saturday at Tully Field.
(4) North Shore 0, (5) Plainedge 1
Jackie Kennedy scored with 18:15 left in the second half to lead No. 5 Plainedge (5-6-5) over No. 4 North Shore in the quarterfinals of the Nassau Class A Playoffs. Plainedge will play No. 1 Division on Saturday at 3:00 at Tully Field in New Hyde Park.

Christina Klaum scored three goals, two of which were assisted by Michalea Lynch, to lead No. 2 South Side (10-2-4) over No. 10 Wantagh in the Class A quarterfinals. South Side advances to play No. 3 Garden City in the semifinals on Saturday.

Jessica Stein and Haley O'Hanlon each scored as No. 3 Garden City (9-2-5) beat No. 6 New Hyde Park in the quarterfinals of the Nassau Class A girls soccer playoffs.

Ari Weingrad and Susan Ballantyne each scored twice and Krista Fitzpatrick had a goal and two assists to lead No. 1 Division over No. 16 Glen Cove in the first round of the Class A playoffs. Division will host the winner of Saturday's Island Trees/Clarke game at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Kenzie Cohen scored with 7:00 left in the first overtime to lead No. 4 North Shore (4-5-4) over No. 13 Jericho in the first round of the Nassau Class A Playoffs. North Shore will play the winner of No. 5 Plainedge vs. No. 12 West Hempstead in the quarterfinals on Wednesday at 2:30 at North Shore.
(5) Plainedge 1, (12) Manhasset 0
Freshman Allison Baner scored her first career goal on a corner kick in the 25th minute to lead No. 5 Plainedge (4-6-5) past No. 12 Manhasset in the first round of the Nassau Class A playoffs. Goalie Dolores Diemicke made a key save with :54 seconds left to preserve the victory. Plainedge plays the North Shore/Jericho winner in the quarters on Wednesday.
(2) South Side 6, (15) Lynbrook 0
Christina Klaum had a hat trick to lead No. 2 South Side (9-2-4) over No. 15 Lynbrook in the first round of the Nassau Class A playoffs. Lynbrook finishes at 6-4-4. South Side hosts No. 10 Wantagh Tuesday
(7) Seaford 0, (10) Wantagh 3
Amanda Profera opened the scoring in the game's second minute to lead No. 10 Wantagh (9-2-3) over No. 7 Seaford in the first round of the Nassau Class A playoffs. Wantagh plays at No. 2 South Side in the quarterfinals on Tuesday.
(3) Garden City 5, (14) Valley Stream North 0
Kayla Murphy scored and had two assists and Tracy Rendano made five saves for Garden City (8-2-5) in a Nassau Class A first round game. Garden City hosts the winner of No. 6 New Hyde Park/No. 11 Bethpage in the quarterfinals Tuesday.

Gabriella Tomasini and Ailish Malone each had a goal and an assist to lead No. 6 New Hyde Park (5-6-4) over No. 11 Bethpage in the first round Nassau Class A Playoffs. New Hyde Park will face No. 3 Garden City in the quarterfinals on Tuesday at Garden City.
