1. St. Joseph (20-1)
Last year's stunning FCIAC quarterfinal round loss helped fuel the Cadets run to a state title. Let's see if they can make history repeat itself.
2. Fairfield Prep (18-2)
The Jesuits saw their 14-game winning streak come to an end with a loss to Career in the SCC semifinals.
3. Trinity Catholic (16-5)
The defending state champs have high hopes for the postseason.
4. Notre Dame-Fairfield (17-4)
Hungry for another SWC title, the surging Lancers rolled past Weston in the league quarterfinals. Next up for ND is Masuk in Tuesday's semifinals.
5. Bassick (16-5)
Senior Demetrius Thomas, perhaps the league's most talented player, went off for 27 points as the defending FCIAC champs made a statement with a 72-59 win over Westhill.
6. Westhill (14-7)
Not even 33 points from Chris Walters was enough to get the Vikings over the hump against Bassick. The Vikings will regroup and try to make another prolonged run in the LL tournament.
7. Ridgefield (16-5)
The Tigers finally got past nemesis Stamford to reach the FCIAC semifinals for the first time under sixth-year head coach Carl Charles.
8. Kolbe Cathedral (18-3)
The Cougars surprising loss to Masuk in the SWC quarterfinals was their third defeat in the last four games.
9. Watertown (18-3)
The Indians avenged a regular-season loss to Naugatuck with a 71-62 victory in the NVL quarterfinals.
10. Central (12-8)
The Hilltoppers' stunning 62-58 victory over previously undefeated St. Joseph earns them a spot back in the top 10.
