2011 All-Connecticut girls soccer team
The MSG Varsity Connecticut staff selected the top players, coaches and teams from the 2011 season across the entire region.
Below are the award winners, as well as the first-team and second-team all-stars.

PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Greenwich, Sr., Forward
The all-time leading scorer in program history, Colligan finished her brilliant career with 150 points. The senior forward tied her single-season record with 20 goals this year and led the Cardinals to a second straight FCIAC championship. Colligan, who has signed to play at N.C. State, is a three-time first-team All-FCIAC and All-State selection and was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-America Team.
New Canaan, Jr., Midfielder
An All-New England and first-team All-FCIAC choice, the junior midfielder was a force all over the field and her right foot was a major asset for the Rams on set pieces.
New Canaan, Sr., Goalkeeper
The first-team All-FCIAC goalie ended her stellar career with eight shutouts, including two in the state tournament as the Rams reached the CIAC Class LL quarterfinals.
Darien, Sr., Midfielder
A four-year starter, Bravo laves the Blue Wave as a two-year All-State and All-FCIAC selection.
Amity, Sr., Defender
A two-time All-State and All-SCC choice, Brown led the Spartans to a 13-3-3 record.
St. Joseph, Sr., Forward
One of only four players in the state to be named to the NSCAA All-American Team, Christo scored totaled nearly 40 goals the last two seasons. A two-time All-State and All-FCIAC selection.
Norwalk, Sr., Defender
A four-year starter, the senior sweeper leaves the Bears as a three-time All-State and All-FCIAC selection. Will play at Fairfield University.
Westhill, Sr., Defender
A two-time All-FCIAC selection, Eriksen spearheaded a Vikings defense that allowed just six goals all season.
St. Joseph, So., Forward
Already a two-time All-State and All-FCIAC selection, Grasso was perhaps the most electrifying player in the FCIAC this season. The sophomore striker finished with 21 goals and 18 assists in helping the Cadets nail down the league’s best record.
Staples, Sr., Forward
The senior forward and first-team All-FCIAC selection finished her career with 82 points, including 18 goals and 12 assists this season. Lake scored four goals in the state tournament, leading the No. 20 seed Wreckers on their surprising run to the Class LL semifinals.
Wilton, Jr., Midfielder
A three-sport standout who has already committed to play lacrosse at Notre Dame, the junior central midfielder was named All-State and first-team All-FCIAC after leading the Warriors to the FCIAC semifinals.
Fairfield Warde, Sr. Forward
A two-time All-State and All-FCIAC selection, Pullen scored countless big goals for the Mustangs – notably the game-winner to lift Warde to its first league championship game.
