BOYS TRACK ATHLETE OF THE YEAR
HENRY WYNNE, STAPLES

The junior won the 1000 (2:28.30) and ran on the Wreckers' first place 4x400 relay at the New England championships . Wynne also took home the gold in the 1000 at the State Open (2:29.56), Class LL (2:30.42) and FCIAC championships (2:31.66), helping Staples win the team title at all three events.     Wynne earned All-Amercian honors as a part of the Wreckers' sprint medley relay that was sixth at the national championships.
