MSGVarsity.com will be live-streaming the SCC boys basketball showdown between Fairfield Prep and Foran at Alumni Hall on Friday at 7 p.m.

Led by Wiliiam & Mary-bound senior swingman Terry Tarpey, the surging Jesuits (16-2) have won 11 straight games heading into this contest.

Tarpey dropped in 28 points in Prep's latest victory -- a 64-46 rout of Shelton -- while freshman Tommy Nolan added 10 points.

The Lions (10-8) haven't played since last Friday when they had a two-game winning streak snapped at the hands of Amity, 51-41.

Guard Kevin Green had 15 points in that game, while backcourt mate James Richetelli finished with 13. The Lions also got a lift from center Austin Woods, who totaled 13 points and a game-high 18 rebounds.

Fairfield Prep, a Class LL finalist last season, won the first matchup between these teams, 67-44, in Milford on Dec. 16.

Tarpey had 24 points and 14 rebounds in that game, while junior center Tim Butala chipped in 12 points and nine boards. Richetelli led the Lions with 13 points.
