RANK TEAM REC LW COMMENTS
1 Foran 25-2 1

The SCC champs had their 19-game winning streak snapped by Rockville, 3-2, in the Class L finals.

2 Amity 23-5 2

Quite an effort by the Spartans, who knocked off third-seeded Darien, second-seeded Westhill and finally top-seeded Southington en route to the Class LL title.

3 Darien 22-4 3

It was quite a run for seniors Jessica DeMaio, Olivia Gozdz and Co.

4 Westhill 23-4 4

Speaking or great runs, the Vikings and their outstanding senior class led by Allison Macari, Cassandra Kish and Allie Souza fell just short in their quest for a third straight trip to the Class LL finals.

5 Torrington 21-4 5

A terrific season by the Red Raiders and standout sophomore Sydney Matzko came to an end in the Class L quarterfinals against Brookfield.

6 St. Joseph 18-4 6

The surging Cadets saw their season end in a 1-0 pitchers' duel defeat to Stonington in the second round of states.

7 Law 20-4 7

The Eagles reached the quarterfinals of the Class M tournament before falling to Rocky Hill, 3-2.

8 Norwalk 15-9 8

After reaching the FCIAC semis, the Bears bowed out in the Class LL second round with a hard-fought 2-1 loss to No. 5 Bristol Eastern.

9 Ludlowe 14-8 9

Still only a sophomore, Eliza Guerrero will return as one of the top pitchers in the FCIAC next season.

10 Stamford 14-9 10

Certainly no shame in the Knights' 1-0 setback to top-seeded Southington in the second round of the LL tournament.
