Mid-Hudson squad for BCANY festival nearly set

After the first round of tryouts, the Mid-Hudson squad for the BCANY Summer Hoops Festival has narrowed its finalists to 16 players.
Mid-Hudson, which is comprised of schools in Section 9, will hold its final round of workouts in the weeks leading up to the event.
The second-annual BCANY event will be held from August 3-5 at Johnson City High School, which is just outside of Binghamton.
There will be nine teams — Hudson Valley (Section 1), Albany and North (Sections 2 and 7), Syracuse (Section 3 and 10), Southern Tier (Section 4), Rochester (Section 5), Buffalo (Section 6), Mid-Hudson (Section 9), and two Long Island teams representing Sections 8 and 11.
