RANK TEAM REC LW COMMENTS
1 Yorktown 12-4 1

Huskers open the Section 1 Class B playoffs in search of program's eye-popping 35th sectional crown.

2 John Jay-CR 10-6 2

Indians must get through Somers in order to get another crack at Yorktown in a potential Section 1 Class B championship matchup.

3 Lakeland/Panas 10-6 3

Unlike last year, L/P and Mahopac are on the same side of the Section 1 Class A bracket. The two rivals met in last year's title game, however, they are lined up for an epic semifinal battle this time around.

4 Bronxville 16-1 4

Broncos are a heavy favorite to capture their second straight Section 1 Class C championship.

5 Somers 10-7 5

In a repeat of last year, the Tuskers will likely face John Jay-CR in the Section 1 Class B semifinals. Somers lost an overtime heartbreaker to the Indians in last year's Class B semifinal, so this potential matchup will have no shortage of juice.

6 Iona Prep 12-7 6

Gaels are 9-2 over their last 11 games, with the two losses coming against perennial CHSAA AAA powers St. Anthony's and Chaminade. They will take on rival Fordham Prep in the CHSAA  AA city championship on May 25. The two split during the regular season.

7 Mahopac 9-7 7

Defending Section 1 Class A champ will look to prove its late-season struggles are a thing of the past.

8 Brewster 11-6 8

Tuesday's Section 1 Class B quarterfinal showdown against Rye could be one of the best games of the entire posteason — regardless of class.

9 Arlington 10-6 9

With a win over Clarkstown South in the Section 1 Class A quarterfinals this afternoon, the Admirals will advance to the sectional semis for the first time in program history.

10 Suffern 12-4 10

Mounties host Mamaroneck in the Section 1 Class A quarterfinals this afternoon. With a healthy Peter Conley back in the lineup, the Tigers have the firepower to put a scare into Suffern.
