Picking all-star teams can be extremely difficult. And they’re far tougher when not a single down of football has even been played.
But I’m going to attempt it anyway. Below is the MSG Varsity Hudson Valley football all-star team. The team is comprised of the top players in Section 1 and Section 9, as well as private and Catholic schools in the region. All are represented.
With nearly 100 schools to select from, here are some preseason accolades, as well as the 24 players who made the cut for the all-star team:
