1. St. Anthony's (21-0 CHSHL)
Senior Chris Wallace made his last game count, as he scored the game-winning goal with one second left to lift the Friars to the school's first NYS title with a 4-3 win over St. Francis. Wallace notched 12 goals in the post-season, a strong end to his high school career.
2. Smithtown/Hauppauge (23-1)
The Bulls fell in their first two contests of the NYSAHA state tournament, first losing to FDR 5-1 on March 2 and then dropping a 6-4 contest to Connetquot/Sayville.
3. Long Beach (19-4-1)
The Marines won its second consecutive NYSCSH small school division championship by defeating Cleve-Hill JFK 5-0 to finish off its season.
4. Connetquot/Sayville (21-3)
The T-Birds performed admirably in the NYSAHA tournament, going 2-0-1 before falling to Arlington 3-1 in the championship game.
5. Oceanside (16-8-1)
Oceanside fell to Iroquois-Alden in the NYSCSH Open Division championship game by a score of 3-2 up in Jamestown, NY.
6. Syosset (17-6-1)
Syosset went even in the NYSCHS tournament, going 1-1-1 with a win over Hutch Tech and playing even with St. Francis, 3-3.
7. St. Joseph by the Sea (9-10-2)
Goaltender Rob Palumbo stood on his head and the Vikings never gave up. Sea’s season might have ended with a 5-3 loss to St. Anthony’s in Game 2 of the CHSHL Class A championship series Sunday, but things are looking up for Anthony Larca’s squad.
8. East Williston (15-8-2)
The Wildcats dropped the deciding Game 3 in the Liberty Division championship game by a score of 9-4.
9. Kings Park/Commack (14-7-1)
The Cougars held on valiantly against a surging Smithtown/Hauppauge team, but eventually fell to the eventual SCHSHL champion, 4-0 in the semifinals. A team with 15 seniors, look for the Cougars to begin rebuilding next season.
10. Monsignor Farrel (6-7-3)
The Lions missed out on the playoffs for the first time ever when they ended the regular season with a 7-0 loss to St. Anthony's. Farrel fell one point short.
