Brian Bilello, Lynbrook, C, Sr.: A 5-11, 195-pound backstop who was All-Conference and batted .419 with 3 home runs and 29 RBI. Headed to Concordia College.
 
Mitch Calandra, Floral Park, C, Fresh.: A 5-10, 150-pound catcher who all the tools. Homered twice in one game this season. Receiving skills second to none.
 
James Carr, Manhasset, C, Sr.: A 6-1, 165-pound receiver, who hit .410 with 22 hits, 10 stolen bases and 18 RBI for the Indians.
 
Mike D’acunti, St. Anthony’s, C, Sr.: A 6-1, 200-pounder that batted .408 in the wood bat CHSAA. Can also run well with 16 stolen bases as a junior. Excellent all-around athlete.
 
Anthony Dedona, Bethpage, C, Sr.:
Big-time hitter. Finished junior season with home runs in three straight games. Had .393 average, 6 homers and 26 RBI.
 
Mark Donadio, Mt. Sinai, C, Jr.: The 6-1, 185-pound All-State selection who batted .388 with 31 hits and 32 RBI and 20 runs scored.
 
Nick Duarte, Port Washington, C, Jr.: One of Nassau’s outstanding backstops, who batted .316 last season. Calls a smart game and handles the pitching staff well.
 
Nick Fanneron, Massapequa, C, Jr.: A 6-0, 170-pound sweet swinging lefthander who should get many looks this season. He hits with power to all fields.
 
Rob Fiato, Huntington, C, Jr.: A nice target at 6-1, 230 pounds, who is a four-year varsity player. The Blue Devils team captain is known for his leadership skills and handling of the staff.
 
John Fogarty, Clarke, C, Jr.: A 6-1, 200-pound starter as a sophomore will move between outfield and behind the plate. Has had official visits to Pepperdine, Hofstra and St. Thomas. Excellent receiving skills.
 
Chris Gaffney, St. John the Baptist, C, Jr.: The 5-10, 170-pounder was an CHSAA selection as a sophomore, who batted .388, with 6 triples, 9 doubles, and 16 RBI's. He manages the staff well and has a quick release.
 
Charles Galiano, Commack, C, Sr.: The All-Suffolk backstop batted .368 with 5 home runs, 12 doubles and 22 RBI. The 5-11, 180-pounder has excellent blocking and receiving skills.
 
Chris Hardardt, Holy Trinity, C, Sr.: A 6-3, 225-pound receiver, who handles D-I pitching staff for Holy Trinity. Batted .273 as a junior and committed to Hofstra University.

Alex Kucich, Friends Academy, C, Sr.: Team captain who batted .380 as a junior for Quakers.
 
Brian Lau, Oceanside, C, Jr.: A 6-2, 185-pound backstop, who batted .295 as a sophomore and lauded for his defensive skills.
 
Luke Leonardi, Sachem North, C, Jr.:
A 5-9, 170-pound defensive specialist lauded for his receiving skills and powerful arm. Played behind All-State selection Brendan Garry a year ago. Should shine this season.
 
Billy McLean, Wheatley, C, Soph.:
Versatile player who hit .400 as a freshman. All-Conference selection, who will also be used as the closer.
 
Mike Napolitano, Hauppauge, C, Sr.: The 6-0, 20-pound backstop is back from shoulder surgery and hitting with power to all fields. Quick release, who has one of LI’s better arms. Will be a key to title run.
 
T.J. Riccio, Comsewogue, C, Sr.: A 5-10, 175-pound excellent all-around catcher will attend New Haven.
 
Billy Reidel, Glenn, C, Jr.: A 6-1, 195-pound receiver, who was an All-League selection who batted .340 with 25 RBI. He batted .371 with runners in scoring position.
 
Mike Rizzitello, Connetquot, C, Sr.: A 5-8, 175-pound catcher, who hit .358 with 21 runs scored and 18 RBI as a junior. He has a tremendous arm with a quick release. Will attend Dowling College.
 
Tyler Theiss, Deer Park, C, Soph.: A 5-10, 170-pound receiver, who batted .476 with 15 doubles and 23 RBI for Falcons. Cannon for an arm behind the dish. Suffered broken nose in pre-season but fully recovered and playing well.
 
Dominic Torres, Uniondale, C, Sr.: All-County selection who batted .450 with 27 RBI as a junior. He is a four-year starter for the Knights.
 
Chris Tracz, Plainview JFK, C, Soph.: A 5-11, 165-pound lefthanded hitting catcher with tremendous power. Rifle arm and excellent receiving skills. A D-I prospect.
 
Danny Vargas, Deer Park, C, Soph.: A 5-8, 175-pound hitter who will move between catcher and third base. He is a Brooklyn transfer with athletic ability and strong arm. Had eight hits in first four games.
