Floral Park student art work on display in Central Administration Building
This past spring, the Sewanhaka District Art Department hosted a student artist reception at the Central Administration Building to honor 24 artists from the district. Each district art teacher chose one piece of artwork for display.
Samantha Pages, grade 10 from Mrs. Papajohn-Shaw’s Contemporary Art Making class, Emma Annunziato, grade11 from Mrs. Caporale’s Digital Design class, Cassandra Wang, grade 12 from Ms. Glasser’s Advanced Placement 2-Dimensional Design, Alexandra Belsky, grade 10 from Mrs. Lucey’s Drawing & Painting class and Hannah Lauth, grade 9 from Mrs. Martinez’s Studio Art class proudly represent Floral Park’s art department.
The student's artwork will be on display in the Central Administration Offices for the entire year.
