Floral Park student honored in National Italian contest

JoAnna Ast, a ninth grade student at Floral Park Memorial.  JoAnna received Honorable Mention in the Level II  2012 National Italian High School Contest Examination.

The World Language Department of Floral Park Memorial High School congratulates JoAnna Ast for receiving Honorable Mention on the 2012 National Italian High School Contest Examination, Level II.  JoAnna ranked 17th out of the 1,610 students from 20 states who took the level II exam.  JoAnna Ast is in the ninth grade and is currently in Ms. Libonati’s Italian 2a class.
