Live game primer: Lynbrook vs. East Rockaway
MSGVarsity.com Live Access presents a double-dip of basketball action as East Rockaway visits Lynbrook Saturday afternoon.
The action begins at 12:00 noon as the boys will tip off, followed by the girls taking the hardwood tentatively scheduled for 1:45 p.m.
The boys from East Rockaway are off to a 1-1 start on the year by splitting games against Clarke and Friends Academy. David McClure leads the Rocks with 27 points in two games.
After winning its first game of the season against Freeport, Lynbrook dropped its next three contests and are looking to get back on the winning track. The Owls suffered a heartbreaking loss to Mineola after starting off with a 21-4 first quarter lead, only to fall 65-63.
The Lady Rocks are looking for its first win of the season after dropping its opening two contests to Friends Academy and Lawrence. The Lady Owls are looking for its first victory as well after dropping games to Wantagh, Sewanhaka, Our Lady of Mercy and Farmingdale
