Anytime St. Anthony's and Chaminade get together, whether it be on the football or lacrosse field, it's always an intense rivalry.
It will be no different Friday night as the Friars and Flyers meet up in a boys basketball CHSAA contest as MSGVarsity.com Live Access will have all the action live at Chaminade High School at 7:30 p.m.
Both teams are stuck in the middle of the Catholic League and are looking to make a run at the two top teams in the division, St. MAry's and Holy Trinity.
The Flyers will be looking to establish some sort of consistency for its season as the team has alternated wins and losses through its last six contests. Recently Chaminade (2-2, 7-3), under its first-year head coach Ron Paul dropped a close 76-73 decision to its archrival St. Mary's. Joe Patterson led the Flyers with 24 points while Liam Muprhy had 21 as Chaminade couldn't catch the Gaels.
St. Anthony's, just like its opponents have had recent struggles getting past St. Mary's as well. The Friars were led by Anfernee Casimir (18 points), Leland Williams (16 points), and Nigel Carter (13 points) in their team's 75-62 loss to the Gaels.
Be sure to join Kevin Brown on the call live at 7:30 only on MSGVarsity.com.
