Livecast primer: Chaminade at Mount
Mount St. Michael and Chaminade are looking to make marked improvements over last season as they match up in this Long Island-Bronx CHSFL showdown.
The Mountaineers (1-0), who finished 5-5 last year, will miss the playmaking ability of former quarterback Jaylen Amaker, who committed to Bucknell last season. They certainly have begun with a promising start though, blanking another Long Island school, Kellenberg in a 27-0 route last week.
Chaminade (1-1) on the other hand is simply trying to avoid another losing season after last year's paltry 1-9 record. A .500 start so far is no doubt welcomed as they look to make a big jump.
Both teams know that a potential win here could be stepping stone for greater things to come. This will no doubt be an exciting match-up.
