Livecast primer: Eastport-South Manor vs. Kings Park
Two of Long Island's top girls volleyball teams will meet on the courts as Kings Park takes on Eastport-Soutn Manor live on MSGVarsity.com Gametime Livecast.
Opening serve is slated to begin at 5:45 p.m. from Kings Park High School.
The Lady Kingsmen come into this game as Long Island's top ranked girls volleyball team in our latest power rankings and have yet to lose a match, let alone a game all season. They hold sweeps against Islip, Bellport, Comsewogue, Harborfields, and probably their most important win of the season, a sweep of Lindenhurst.
Lindenhurst was at one point the top ranked team on Long Island, however the Lady Kingsmen put them away thanks to 21 kills by Amanda Gannon and Kendall Corcoran's 38 assists in the 27-25, 25-22, 25-19 victory.
Eastport-South Manor is Long Island's number nine-ranked girls volleyball team and come in with a record of 6-0.
The Sharks are coming off big wins against Mattituck and Islip, the latter of which was a 3-2 thriller. Junior Nikki Illuzzi set a school record in that contest with 55 assists to go along with six kills and six aces.
