    Redford fired up over going to Harvard

    Redford declined several Division I basketball scholarships and passed on offers from other Ivy League schools including Yale and Columbia, the family said. She chose Harvard, which had a record low 5.3 percent acceptance rate for its incoming class, according to a recent Boston Globe report.

    St. Anthony's Goode commits to CCSU

    Goode, a 5-7 guard, helped lead St. Anthony's to the state CHSAA Class AA semifinals and scored 23 points in a loss to Christ the King. She was the Friars' leading scorer at 10.2 points per game and also averaged four assists and three steals.

    Friars' Murphy commits to Sacred Heart

    Murphy, a Bellmore resident who transferred from Mepham after her freshman year, helped lead St. Anthony's to the CHSAA Class AA state semifinals in March. The previous season, she helped them reach the state Federation semifinals.
