No. 2 MacArthur (15-2) defeated No. 9 Calhoun (16-1-2) in the Nassau Class AA Final. MacArthur will play Ward Melville in the Long Island Championship Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Denton Avenue Park.

Mary Hijazi scored the winning goal on a penalty kick with 3:11 left in the first overtime period as No. 9 Calhoun (16-0-2) beat No. 4 Mepham (7-7-2) in the Nassau Class AA semifinals. Jessica Foley tied the game at 1-1 for Calhoun with less than two minutes remaining in the second half. Calhoun will play No. 2 MacArthur in the finals Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Denton Avenue Park.

Jill Mulholland scored two goals and added an assist as No. 2 MacArthur (14-2) beat No. 3 Massapequa in the Nassau Class AA semifinals.

Kristina Gandolfo scored the winning goal with 9:00 left in the first overtime to lead No. 9 Calhoun (15-0-2) over No. 1 Farmingdale (12-2-1) in the quarterfinals of the Nassau Class AA Playoffs. Calhoun will play the winner of No. 4 Mepham vs. No. 12 Great Neck South/No. 5 Oceanside in the semfinals on Friday at neutral-site Denton Field.

Gabby Weiner scored off an assist from Sam Trupo 12 minutes into the first half as No. 4 Mepham beat No. 5 Oceanside in the quarterfinals of the Class AA girls soccer playoffs. Mepham plays No. 9 Calhoun at Denton Avenue Field on Friday at a time TBA.

Kristyn Alonzo scored two goals to lead No. 2 MacArthur (13-2) over No. 7 Baldwin in the Class AA quarterfinals. Tara Lyons, Jill Mulholland and Christina Cottone each added a goal and an assist. MacArthur will face Massapequa at 4 p.m. Friday at Denton Avenue Field.
(3) Massapequa 4, (11) Syosset 1
Amanda Garrity and Rosie DiMartino scored two goals each to lead No. 3 Massapequa (8-3-5) over No. 11 Syosset in the quarterfinals of the Nassau Class AA Playoffs. Massapequa will play the winner of No. 7 Baldwin and No. 2 MacArthur in semifinals on Friday at neutral-site Denton Avenue Field.

(8) Hicksville 1, (9) Calhoun 3
Michelle Iacono scored all three goals for No. 9 Calhoun (13-0-2) in its win over No. 8 Hicksville (1-13) in the first round of the Nassau Class AA playoffs. Calhoun will play at No. 1 Farmingdale in the quarterfinals Monday at 2:30 p.m.
(5) Oceanside 1, (12) Great Neck South 0
Danielle Rossi scored on a header off a cross from Laura Dwyer in the 50th minute to break a scoreless tie and lead No. 5 Oceanside (7-6-2) past No. 12 Great Neck South in a Nassau Class AA outbracket. Oceanside plays at No. 4 Mepham in the quarters, Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.
(7) Baldwin 3, (10) Bellmore-JFK 1
Ashley Sobel put No. 7 Baldwin (3-9-3) ahead 2-0 with 11 minutes left in the first half go ahead for good over No. 10 Bellmore JFK (10-4-1) in the first round of the Nassau Class AA playoffs. Baldwin will play at No. 2 MacArthur in the quarterfinals Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
(6) East Meadow 1, (11) Syosset 2
After tying up the score at 1 with 15:20 left in regulation, Gianna Romano scored again 30 seconds into the second overtime to win the game for No. 11 Syosset (11-4) in the first round of the Nassau Class AA playoffs. No. 6 East Meadow finishes its season 3-11-1. Syosset plays No. 3 Massapequa in the quarterfinals Monday at 6 p.m. at Burns Park.
