Alex Vargas scored Tom Murphy and John Goldberg with a single in the bottom of the ninth as Calhoun (23-3) erased a two-run deficit in the inning to capture the Long Island Class AA championship at Farmingdale State.

John Fiederlein hit a walk-off three-run homer in the bottom of the seventh to lift No. 1 Connetquot (21-3) to the Suffolk Class AA championship. Third-seeded Eastport-South Manor finishes 23-4. Connetquot will play the Nassau Champion in the Class AA LI title game.

(3) Eastport-South Manor 7, (2) Half Hollow Hills West 5
With No. 2 Half Hollow Hills West threatening with men on first and second, Ryan Gili came in relief and helped No. 3 Eastport-South Manor (23-3) get out of the jam. Gili pitched the rest of the way going two and two-thirds innings, striking out four batters while giving up no hits. Mat Annunziata went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a triple and an RBI and Anthony Annunziata went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI's. Andrew Karkota went 2-for-4 with two runs scored for Eastport-South Manor in a Class AA Loser's Bracket Final. Eastport-South Manor will face Connetquot tomorrow at 4:00 p.m.

(3) Eastport-South Manor 13, (4) Smithtown East 1
Andrew Karkota went 2-for-5 with two runs and three RBIs, Anthony Annunziata went 2-for-4 with two RBIs, Ryan Malvin went 3-for-3 with two runs and an RBI and Sean Doyle went 2-for-3 with a walk, three runs, a homer and three RBIs for the Sharks. Dalton McCarthy went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and Mike Griffiths went 2-for-4 as each ESM starter reached base. Ryan Gili pitched five innings and allowed one hit, no runs, walked three and struck out four. Eastport-South Manor (22-3) will play at No. 2 Half Hollow Hills West in an elimination game at 4 p.m. Tuesday. Hills West defeated the Sharks, 2-1, on Thursday. The winner of that game will advance to the finals at top-seeded Connetquot on Wednesday. Connetquot has yet to lose in the double-elimination tournament.

Casey Baker hit a two-run triple to highlight a five-run first inning for No. 1 Connetquot in a Suffolk Class AA semifinals winner's bracket. Baker went 2-for-2 with two runs, two walks and two RBIs. Mike Rizzitello went 2-for-4 with two RBIs. No. 2 Hills West will play the winner of SmithtownEast and Eastport-South Manor on Tuesday. Connetquot will host the winner of that game Wednesday.

(4) Smithtown East 3, (6) Commack 2
Doug Milne's two-out single scored Matt Kelly in the bottom of the fifth to give No. 4 Smithtown East (19-5) a 3-2 lead in a Suffolk Class AA loser's bracket fourth-round game. Dimitri Lattas had a two-run homer to give the Bulls a 2-0 lead. Smithtown East will play No. 3 Eastport-South Manor in a loser's bracket final on Saturday at 11 a.m.
(3) Eastport-South Manor 3, (11) Bay Shore 2
Billy Goncalves (2-for-3) gave No. 3 Eastport-South Manor (21-3) a two-run lead in the first inning with a single and then came in relief for Dalton McCarthy (five innings pitched, four hits, one strikeout) to close out the game in a Suffolk Class AA Losers Bracket Fourth Round. Mike Flynn went 1-for-2 with an RBI as well. Eastport-South Manor will face No. 4 Smithtown East tomorrow at 11:00pm.

Anthony Schuler keyed a five-run first inning with a three-run double to lead No. 1 Connetquot (19-3) in the third round of the Suffolk Class AA playoffs. Brian McKean improved to 7-0, striking out seven over 5 1/3 innings and Casey Baker went 4-for-4 with two RBIs. Connetquot will hots the Hills West/ESM winner in the winner's bracket final, Friday at 4 p.m. No. 4 Smithtown East is 18-5.
(2) Half Hollow Hills West 2, (3) Eastport-South Manor 1
Dylan Mouzakes put down a successful suicide squeeze bunt to score pinch runner T.J. Montalbano with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning to win it for No. 2 Half Hollow Hills West in a Suffolk Class AA semifinal winner's bracket game. Hills West will play at No. 1 Connetquot in a winner's bracket final at 4 p.m. Friday. No. 3 ESM will host No. 11 Bay Shore at 4 p.m. Friday in an elimination game.

No 6. Commack was led by pitcher Matt Fick who pitched a three-hitter with four-strikeouts in a Class AA Losers Bracket Third Round. Commack will play No. 4 Smithtown East Friday, May 25th.
(11) Bay Shore 2, (9) Hauppauge 0
Greg Weissert pitched a two-hitter with six strikeouts and a walk to lift No. 11 Bay Shore in a Suffolk Class AA Losers' Bracket Third Round Game. Bay Shore plays the loser of No. 2 Hills West/No. 3 Eastport-South Manor.

(9) Hauppauge 2, (10) Kings Park 1
Franco Testani hit a sac fly to score Nick Fanti for the go-ahead run in the bottom of the third for No. 9 Hauppauge (15-7) in the Suffolk Class AA loser's bracket second round. Hauppauge advances to the third round to host No. 11 Bay Shore at 4 p.m. Monday.
(11) Bay Shore 8, (12) Longwood 6
Chris Dannenfelser hit a two-RBI single in the bottom of the fourth to cap a three-run rally and give No. 11 Bay Shore (16-7) a 7-4 lead as the Marauders held on to defeat No. 12 Longwood in the Suffolk Class AA loser's bracket second round. Greg Weissert went 2-for-2 with three RBIs, Tyler White went 3-for-3 with two runs and Justin Border got the save for Bay Shore which advances to play at No. 9 Hauppauge at 4 p.m. Monday in teh third round.

Ryan Heizman threw a one-hit shutout with three strikeouts, Charles Galiano went 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI and Matt Schillingsford went 2-for-3 with an RBI to lead No. 6 Commack (15-7) over No. 13 West Islip in the Suffolk Class AA loser's bracket second round. Commack hosts No. 7 Patchogue-Medford in the third round at 4 p.m. Monday.
(7) Patchogue-Medford 5, (17) Smithtown West 0
Dan D'Onofrio struck out eight and allowed four hits and two walks in a shutout victory and went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and two runs scored to lead No. 7 Patchogue-Medford (15-7) over No. 16 Smithtown West in the Suffolk Class AA loser's bracket second round. Patchogue-Medford advances to the third round to play at No. 6 Commack at 4 p.m. Monday.

No. 1 Connetquot (19-3) defeated No. 9 Hauppauge (15-7) in the Suffolk winner's bracket second round. James Higgins picked up the victory.

Justin Cusano pitched six and two-thirds shutout innings with seven strikeouts and five hits allowed to lead No. 4 Smithtown East (18-4) over No. 12 Longwood in the second round of the Suffolk Class AA Playoffs. Doug Milne went 2/4 with four RBIs. Smithtown East will face No. 1 Connetquot in the winner's bracket semifinals on Monday at 4 p.m.
(3) Eastport-South Manor 4, (6) Commack 3

Sal Lovaglio struck out four in a six-hitter for No. 2 Half Hollow Hills West (19-3) in a Suffolk Class AA winner's bracket game. Dylan Mouzakes went 2-for-2 with three RBIs. His run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth gave Hills West a 3-1 lead. Hills West hosts No. 3 Eastport-South Manor in a winner's bracket third-round game on Monday at 4 p.m.

(17) Smithtown West 6, (8) Ward Melville 4
Danny McDermott scored on Dan Taliercio's RBI single in the top of the fifth to give No.17 Smithtown West (12-11) a 5-2 lead in an elimination game. Doug Zhong stole home in the second inning to make it 2-0 and Taliercio struck out the side in the seventh for the save. Smithtown West plays at No. 7 Patchogue-Medford in an elimination game, Saturday at 1 p.m.

Chris Anderson threw a three-hit shutout with seven strikeouts and Sam Ilario's single scored Joe Watson for the game's only run in the top of the sixth to lead No. 13 West Islip (13-9) in a Suffolk Class AA loser's bracket game. Ken Rotunno threw a two-hitter in the losing effort for No. 5 East Islip (17-5). West Islip will visit Commack in an elimination game, Saturday at 1 p.m.
(11) Bay Shore 10, (14) West Babylon 1
Trevor Borders struck out two and allowed no earned runs in 5 1/3 innings for No. 11 Bay Shore (15-7) in a Suffolk Class AA loser's bracket game. Tyler White had two hits and two RBIs during 9-run fifth as Bay Shore a 10-1 lead. Bay Shore hosts Longwood in a losers bracket game on Saturday at 1 p.m.
(10) Kings Park 7, (15) Bellport 3
Joey Lynn went 3/4 with a triple, one RBI and two runs to lead No. 10 Kings Park (16-6) over No. 15 Bellport (13-9) in an elimination game in the Suffolk Class AA Playoffs. Chris Savino went 1/3 with two RBIs. Kings Park will face No. 9 Hauppauge in an elimination game on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Thursday, May 17 (at higher seed)
(1) Connetquot 5, (17) Smithtown West 3
Brian McKean allowed three runs, six hits and struck out 10 in a complete game to lead No. 1 Connetquot (18-3) over No. 16 Smithtown West in the first round of the Class AA playoffs. John Fiederlein and Anthony Schuler each went 1-for-3 with two RBIs.
(9) Hauppauge 2, (8) Ward Melville 1
Sean Prahalis picked up the win for the Eagles as No. 9 Hauppauge knocked off No. 8 Ward Melville in the first round of the Class AA playoffs.

Rob Moore went 2-for-3 with two doubles and five RBIs and Chris Faison went 2-for-2 with three runs to lead No. 12 Longwood (14-7) in the first round of the Suffolk Class AA playoffs. Longwood visits No. 4 Smithtown East in a winners bracket game, Friday at 4 p.m. No. 5 East Islip is 17-4.
(4) Smithtown East 2, (13) West Islip 1
Ryan Craig pitched 5 1/3 innings of two-hit ball and Chris Rubin recorded the final five outs of the game for his seventh save of the season to lead No. 4 Smithtown East (17-4) in the first round of the Suffolk Class AA playoffs. Smithtown East hosts Longwood in a winners bracket game, Friday at 4 p.m. No. 13 West Islip is 12-9.
(3) Eastport-South Manor 8, (14) West Babylon 7
Mike Griffiths went 3-for-4 with a double and three runs scored and Dalton McCarthy went 2-for-4 with two RBIs to lead as No. 3 Eastport-South Manor (19-2) over No. 14 West Babylon in the first round of the Suffolk Class AA playoffs. ESM hosts No. 6 Commack in the quarterfinals Friday at 4 p.m.
(6) Commack 4, (11) Bay Shore 3
Paul Maline hit a walk-off triple with one out in the bottom of the ninth that scored Matt Schillingsford from first to give No. 6 Commack (14-6) a win over No. 11 Bay Shore in the first round of a Suffolk Class AA playoff game. Robert Pepe pitched five scoreless innings of relief to earn the win. Commack will advance to play No. 3 Eastport-South Manor.
(7) Patchogue-Medford 4, (10) Kings Park 0
Matt Vogel pitched six shutout innings with 13 strikeouts and two hits allowed to lead No. 7 Patchogue-Medford (14-6) over No. 10 Kings Park in the first round of the Suffolk Class AA Playoffs. Dan D'Onofrio went 1/3 with a double and three RBIs. Patchogue-Medford will face No. 2 Half Hollow Hills West in the quarterfinals on Friday at Half Hollow Hills West.
(2) Half Hollow Hills West 5, (15) Bellport 1
Dylan Mouzakes threw a four-hitter with 10 strikeouts and hit the game-winning two-run single with two outs in the fifth as No. 2 Hills West (18-3) defeated No. 15 Bellport in the first round of Suffolk Class AA playoffs. This marked the 300th career win for Hills West coach Tom Migliozzi, who is in his 18th season at the helm. Hills West hosts No. 7 Patchogue-Medford Friday at 4 p.m

(17) Smithtown West 8, (16) Sachem East 5
Steve McDermott was 2-for-2 with 3 RBI and two runs, Mike Whittendale was 3-for-4 with three runs and Matt Lichtman was 4-for-4 with a run and an RBI to lead No. 17 Smithtown West (11-10) over No. 16 Sachem East in the Suffolk AA play-in game. Smithtown West will play at No. 1 Connetquot in the first round of the playoffs.
