UNIONDALE, NY -- Syosset was on a mission to return to the Nassau County finals.
After missing the County finals last year for the first timte in four years, Syosset attacked quickly and often as Ryan Hunter led the way with six goals in a 17-7 win in the Class 'A' semifinals over Baldwin at Hofstra University.
Hunter opened up the scoring for Syosset just three minutes into the game, followed by Andrew Keith getting the Braves out to a 2-0 lead just two minutes later.
After Patrick Dillon cut the Braves lead in half a minute and a half later, Hunter was at it again, collecting the loose change off a John Diaz shot and potting it home for his second of the game just seven minutes in.
The Braves continued to be dominant in the first 12 minutes of play as they rattled off three more goals and jumped out to a 6-1 lead at the end of one quarter.

Keith, Frankie Buffalino and Alex Hatzopolous all added goals in the second frame as Syosset pulled away to a 10-2 lead at the half.
