    Longwood's Malik Rasheed took home the Suffolk League I 138-pound championship

    Plainedge's Dan Spurgeon was named the most outstanding wrestler at the Nassau Division I qualifier tournament at Plainedge Saturday.

    The senior pinned Valley Stream North's Nick Gonzalez in 1:09 at 170 pounds to capture first place.

    Port Washington's Chris Castillo (145 pounds) had the most pins in the least amount of time (four pins in 4:55). Castillo pinned Mike Vera of Island Trees in 1:03 in the first-place match.

    Rondino wins at Syosset. In the Nassau Division I qualifier, Syosset's Nick Rondino (106 pounds) was named most outstanding wrestler and had the most pins in the least amount of time (four in 6:49). Rondino pinned Long Beach's Krishna Sewkumar in 2:44 to win the first-place match.

    Pantofel victorious at Massapequa. East Meadow's Evan Pantofel (170 pounds) was named most outstanding wrestler at the Nassau Division I qualifier at Masspequa, and Pankil Chander of Lawrence had the most pins in the least amount of time (three in 7:54).

    Rasheed wins in League I. Longwood's Malik Rasheed took home the Suffolk League I 138-pound championship after securing an 8-5 decision over Brentwood's Alexis Blanco. Rasheed was named the most outstanding wrestler of the tournament, and teammate Edward Jennings had the most pins in the least amount of time (three in 5:18).

    Aviles wins in League III. Brandon Aviles scored a 5-0 decision over Branson Berger at 126 pounds and captured the League III championship at Hills East. Whitman's Kevin Figueroa had the most pins in the least amount of time (three pins in 2:13).

    Mauriello League IV champ. Hauppauge's Nick Mauriello (132 pounds) had the most pins in the least amount of time (four pins in 2:22) as well as being named most outstanding wrestler at the League IV championships at Hauppauge.
