Connecticut boys basketball rankings (3/13)

1. St. Joseph (23-1)
Kris Dunn and New London stand in the way of a return trip to Mohegan Sun.

2. Fairfield Prep (22-3)
Terry Tarpey continues to fill the stat sheet. Could a Class LL championship game rematch with St. Joe's be on the horizon?

3. Notre Dame-Fairfield (18-5)
The Lancers have reached the Class M semifinals for the second straight year.

4. Bassick (21-6)
For the two-time reigning FCIAC champs, the season came to an end in the Class L quarterfinals

5. Trinity Catholic (20-7)
After defeating Career in last year's Class M state finals, the Crusaders were knocked off by the Panthers in the Class L quarterfinals.

6. Kolbe Cathedral (20-3)
The second-seeded Cougars could get another crack at SWC rival Immaculate in the Class S finals.

7. Watertown (21-3)
After completing their remarkable run to a first-ever NVL championship, the Indians aren't quite ready for their storybook season to end. They survived a double-overtime thriller against Brookfield to reach the Class M semifinals.

8. Westhill (15-8)
The Vikings had high hopes for the postseason, but were eliminated by eventual champion Bassick in the FCIAC quarterfinals and fell to Fairfield Prep in the second round of the Class LL tournament.

9. Ridgefield (18-7)
Top-seeded St. Joseph put the clamps on the Tigers in their much-anticipated Class LL quarterfinal round matchup Monday night.

10. Central (12-10)
The Hilltoppers fell to Holy Cross in the first round of the Class LL tournament, but their FCIAC quarterfinal victory over St. Joseph keeps them in this spot.
