Warwick HS Student–Athlete of the Week: Joseph Boccia

Warwick, NY.—Warwick HS is proud to honor Joseph Boccia as this week’s Warwick HS Student-Athlete of the Week sponsored locally by ALLSTATE Insurance Bill Garcia Agency.

The senior football captain ran for 107 yards on 21 carries and scored three touchdowns in the Wildcat’s 2011 Homecoming Football Game against Washingtonville.  The Wildcats complete the regular season and qualified for the playoffs. 

Joseph’s 90.7 average has earned him honor roll status. He has been recognized as a NYSPHSAA Scholar–Athlete for football. Joe’s hard work in the weight room has paid great dividends including a 360 lb. bench press, making him the strongest Wildcat player.  Joe plans to play football in college next year where he will receive much attention from college coaches in the late fall. He is undecided as to a field of study.

Joseph is the son of Joe and Lorraine Boccia of Warwick, New York. His sister Cheyenne is a freshman at Emerson College in Boston.
