MSG Varsity announces 2011 pre-season Tri-state Football Top 25
A Quick :60 To Reveal the Nine Most Impactful Two-Way Football Players From the Tri-State Area over the Past 15 Years
MSG Varsity, Cablevision’s 24/7 HD network dedicated to everything high school, announced today the 2011 MSG Varsity Tri-State Top 25 Pre-Season High School Football poll. The rankings will be discussed by host Mike Quick, during his LIVE weekly call-in show, A Quick :60, which returns Tuesday, September 6 at 8:00 p.m.
The Tri-State Top 25 poll, which is voted on by MSG Varsity’s high school sports experts, will be updated throughout the football season and announced weekly on A Quick :60.
“MSG Varsity’s Tri-State Top 25 Poll provides an ideal opportunity to showcase some of the most promising high school football teams to watch out for this season,” said Michael Lardner, Executive Producer and Senior Vice President, MSG Varsity.
The third season premiere will also feature Quick unveiling his list of the tri-state area’s nine most impactful two-way football players over the last 15 years. The tenth and final spot will be left open for debate among Quick’s viewers.
“It is exciting for me to look back at the past 15 years and recognize the tri-state area’s most impactful football players on both sides of the ball,” said Mike Quick, host of MSG Varsity’s A Quick :60. “It wasn’t an easy process narrowing down the list to just nine and I can’t wait to hear who the audience thinks should take the final spot.”
Hosted by high school sports guru Mike Quick, A Quick: 60 is a comprehensive look at the tri-state area football landscape, featuring a Tri-state Top 25 Ranking in each week’s episode. This weekly LIVE, call-in show airs in High-Definition every Tuesday at 8:00 PM on MSG Varsity, iO TV (Channel 14).
