PLAINVIEW, N.Y. -- Plainview-JFK boys lacrosse team will host Herricks Wednesday afternoon on MSGVarsity.com's Afternoon Livecast.

After losing its first three games of the season, the Hawks of Plainview (1-3) are looking to keep some positive momentum rolling following a convincing 11-3 win over Island Trees on April 2. Plainview will look to improve on last year's record of 7-8, the Hawks best season finish since 2006 (9-8).

The Highlanders of Herricks High School started their season off strong with a 13-1 win over Hempstead. Herricks will look to pick themselves back up though after losing to West Hempstead yesterday, 5-4 in a close matchup

The Highlanders will have their work cut out for them. Plainview has owned the last five meetings against Herricks and outscoring the Highlanders by a combined score of 52-17.
