The Panthers' marvelous season--played entirely on the road--concluded in heartbreaking fashion last Thursday, 13-12, to Rumson in triple-overtime in the Group 1 quarterfinals. Tim Miller, Braeden DeWan, Alex Walker, Pat Egan and Mike DeCarlo directed a sizzling 8-0 run in the final 7:42 of regulation to knot the game at 12-12. |

The Cougars went 9-2 in May and beat two teams--Glen Ridge and Pingry--who will be playing for state championships Wednesday. Senior attackman Kevin Wanke recorded 71 goals and 42 assists this season and became the school's all-time scoring leader with 288 career points. |
