Peele, Jacobs stay with Scarlet Knights
Linden wide receiver Ruhann Peele decided to keep with his original verbal commitment to Rutgers, and on Wednesday he made it official by signing his letter of intent to attend college in Piscataway.
The 6-foot 170-pound explosive playmaker joins Leonte Carroo as a duo of upper echelon receivers who will be lining up for Kyle Flood next fall.
Peele was also offered from Temple and drew interest from Illinois and Indiana, but in the end decided to stay home and play for the Scarlet Knights.
Meanwhile, Jacobs never swayed from his original decision, either. The DePaul Catholic running back/defensive back chose Rutgers over 19 other scholarship offers from the Big 10, ACC, Conference USA and the Big East.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Jacobs amassed 62 tackles this past season, during which the Spartans posted an 8-2 record.
