Part three of “The Rockette Summer Intensive” series celebrates the high school dancers that made it through the audition process. This episode features behind-the-scenes footage and one-on-one interviews with the dancers as they perform a selection of choreography featured in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular including the renowned Parade of the Wooden Soldiers as well as the tap infused Twelve Days of Christmas.

“Performing the iconic Parade of the Wooden Soldiers choreography is a moment the young dancers will cherish for a lifetime,” said Michael Lardner, Senior Vice President and Executive Producer, MSG Varsity. “We are honored to have the opportunity to capture this very poignant moment in their lives and to present it to our viewers.”

“The experience that dancers acquire through the training under the Rockette Summer Intensive is invaluable as they learn firsthand the Rockette technique and precision style that has made them a world-famous dance company for more than 85 years,” said Eileen Grace, Rockettes Director and Choreographer. “To learn choreography such as the Parade of the Wooden Soldiers, which has been performed in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular since its inception in 1933, as well as other Rockette numbers is an everlasting memory and something that they will take with them through their future dance training.”
