Omari Palmer signs with Syracuse
Longwood offensive lineman Omari Palmer has officially signed with the University of Syracuse on Wednesday.
The big OL finished the season with 22 tackles and two sacks. The Orange will plan on using him on the offensive line next season. Palmer was a key cog in limiting the explosive Stacey Bedell to less than 100 yards in a Week 2, 14-12 win against William Floyd.
The 6-foot-3, 310-pound lineman will join Keith Irizzary on the High School SportsDesk at 7:00 p.m. to discuss his decision.
