Lakeland soccer summer league: Semifinals
Friday July 22
Mahopac 3, Brewster 0: The Indians remained unbeaten in league play as Joey Irola, Arun Basuljevic, and Justin Fleisher all scored goals in the victory. Mahopac improved to 5-0-1.
North Salem 4, Putnam Valley 0: Brian Casey, Conor Murphy, Nick Harris and Nick DellaVecchia all scored for North Salem (2-4). Steven Cuzzi made three saves in the victory.
Panas 3, Byram Hils 1: The Panthers Doug McKim had two goals as Panas handed the defending Section 1 champs their second loss. Miguel Hernandez had a goal and an assist in the victory.
Lakeland 2, Yorktown 0: Lakeland kept their record perfect at 6-0 with the win. Andrew Mitgang and Timmy O’Driscoll each had goals. Gonzalo Prando and Sebastian Marquez each had assists. Luis Lizabadaru made four saved for Yorktown.
Wednesday July 20
Byram Hills 3, North Salem 0: Jean Morell, Brenner London and Jon Berry all scored goals as the Bobcats improved to 3-1-1. Alex Meyer and Christos Livanos both had assists, and Tyler Arnone made two saves in the win.
Panas 3, Brewster 0: Miguel Hernandez had two goals, and Doug McKim had the other for the Panthers, who won for the first time in five contests. Steven Donahue made two saves for the victory.
Mahopac 3, Yorktown 0: The Indians remained unbeaten as Paul Markaj, Arum Basuljevic and Joey Iraloa all scored goals.
Lakeland 2, Putnam Valley 0: The Hornets improved to 5-0. Gonzalo Prando assisted on both goals, which were scored by Sebastian Marquez and Chris Jiminez. Austin DeMay made saves for Putnam Valley.
Monday, July 18
Yorktown 4, North Salem 1: Zed Salijan had two assists for the Huskers. Mike Ordonez, Luke Salijan, Nick Leeder and Ryan Roche each scored for Yorktown. Tyler Costello scored for North Salem.
Brewster 2, Putnam Valley 1: The Bears improved to 1-3 as Nick Correro and Domick Saljanin both scored. Gent Berisha scored for Putnam Valley.
Mahopac 2, Panas 0: Arun Basulevic and Jordan Moses each scored for Mahopac.
Lakeland 2, Byram Hills 1: Gonzalo Prando had a goal and an assist for the Hornets. Andrew Mitgang scored in the win. Jeremy Brazda scored for Byram Hills. The game was called because of lightning.
