Mamaroneck 8, White Plains 5

No. 10 Mamaroneck turned in a big second-half performance to beat No. 7 White Plains. Mamaroneck had five different goal scorers in the balanced offensive attack. White Plains battled back initially from a 3-0 deficit after the first quarter, but couldn't hold off Mamaroneck in the second half. Drew Ahlers led White Plains with three goals. Mamaroneck will travel to Suffern on Tuesday for the Class A quarterfinals.

Clarkstown South 16, Clarkstown North 5

No. 6 Clarkstown South beat No. 11 Clarkstown North for the second time this season. Ryan Jelen led the Vikings with four goals. Joseph Buzzetti (2G, 2A), Thomas Lent (2G, 2A), Joe Bermudez (2G, 1A) and Ryan Kahn (2G) all added multiple-goal performances. Kris Alleyne (3 saves) and Patrick Dunbar (5 saves) combined in a winning effort between the pipes. North was led by Anthony Termine and Noah Feinden's two goals. Nick Goldburgh and Justin Ballard each made seven saves in the loss. South will travel to No. 3 Arlington on Tuesday in the quarterfinals.

Brewster 15, Nyack 4

No. 4 Brewster shutout No. 13 Nyack in the first half en route to a 15-4 victory in the Section 1 Class B opening round. Trevor Stubbs-Stroud led the Bears with five goals and two assists. Liam DaRos and Shane Flatterty each tallied a hat trick and an assist. Fernando Solis chipped in with two goals and an assist in the victory. Ed Schoenig (3 saves) and Pat Garrity (4 saves) combined in net for Brewster. Nyack's Brennon Ramos scored two goals in the second half to lead the Indians. Brewster will host No. 5 Rye in the quarterfinals.

Rye 17, Eastchester 2

No. 4 Rye jumped out to an 8-0 first-quarter lead and never looked back in its convincing win over No. 13 Eastchester. Greg Stern led the Garnet attack with five goals and two assists. Andrew Davis rang up a hat trick, and Cal Hynson contributed with two goals and four asssts. Chris Santangelo (2G, 2A), Jack Hasselmann (2G), Jake Concavage (2G, 1A), and Noah Spaeth (1G) all put one in the back of the net for Rye. Danny Sullivan added two assists and Peter White (6 saves) and Elliot Meister (7 saves) handled the goalkeeping duties. Tom Cirillo and Rob Carinci scored the goals for Eastchester in the loss. Rye will travel to No. 4 Brewster in the quarterfinals on Tuesday.

Harrison 10, Ossining 6

No. 10 Harrison used a big second quarter to break open a tight game with No. 7 Ossining. Charlie Vantogeren paced the Huskies with four goals and one assist. Harrison goalie Zach Davidoff stopped 12 shots from an offensive-minded Ossining team that didn't have one player score multiple goals in the game. The Huskies will travel to No. 2 John Jay-Cross River on Tuesday for a quarterfinal matchup.

Somers 17, Peekskill 4

No. 3 Somers exploded for seven first quarter goals in a 17-4 victory over No. 14 Peekskill. The Tuskers got 34 shots on net in an impressive offensive performance. Alex Corpolongo scored four goals and David Rubenstein added three goals and two assists for Somers. Nine different Tuskers put one in the net including Marc Fiocco (2G) and A.J. Cartelli's (2G, 1A) multiple-goal efforts. Peekskill goalie Diego Aponte stopped 17 shots in the loss. Robert Lyles added a hat trick for the Red Devils. Somers will host No. 6 Tappan Zee in the quarterfinals on Tuesday.

Bronxville 16, Pearl River 2

Jack Grass scored five goals and added two assists for the top-seeded Broncos. Gibbs Lilly assisted on five of Bronxville's goals and scored two of his own. The Broncos will host No. 8 Putnam Valley in the quarterfinals on Tuesday.

Kennedy 12, Irvington 11 (OT)

Kennedy's Andrew Rodriguez scored the game-winning goal with 3:04 left in overtime to propel the Gaels to their first playoff win in program history. The Gaels (14-3) outscored Irvington 3-0 in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 11-11. Irvington (9-6) went on a 4-0 run in the third quarter to take an 11-8 lead into the fourth. For Kennedy, Rodriguez and Nick Garofano each tallied three goals and two assists. Pat Gleason notched two goals, while Brett and Dylan Trodden each had a goal and two assists. Dylan Kloster came up huge in net with 14 saves. Jon Cofre (2A) and Sam Winton (1A) led Irvington with four goals apiece. Kevin Degnan had two goals and two assists. Kennedy will face No. 18 Pleasantville on Tuesday, May 22 in the Section 1 Class C quarterfinals.

Pleasantville 10, Dobbs Ferry 8

At Dobbs Ferry, No. 18 Pleasantville outscored No. 2 Dobbs Ferry 3-0 in the decisive third quarter en route to a 10-8 victory. Kyle O'Loughlin paced the Panthers with three goals and one assist. Mike Taurone and Brendan Halloran had two goals and two assists apiece. Owen Reda (2G) and Josh Della Puca (1G) rounded out the offensive production for Pleasantville (5-13), which will travel to No. 7-seeded Kennedy Catholic for a quarterfinals matchup on May 22. Goalie Christopher Doerr made nine saves to preserve the victory. For Dobbs Ferry, senior attackman Spencer Avalos scored a game-high four goals. John Yozzo-scaperrotta (2G), Grant Giglio (1G), Ryan Moynihan (1G) rounded out the scoring for the Eagles, who finished the year with a record of 14-3. Goalie Muhammad Hashimi made nine saves.

Putnam Valley 18, Edgemont 4

No. 8 Putnam Valley outscored No. 9 Edgemont 12-2 in the second half to seal the win. Mike Adamski (5G, 1 A) and Johnny van de Veerdonk (4G, 2A) led the way for the Tigers. Putnam Valley's solid possession game and tough defense only allowed Edgemont nine shots on goal in the game. Kyle Christopher stopped five shots for the tigers. Four different Edgemont players scored in the loss. Putnam Valley will travel to No. 1 Bronxville in a tough quarterfinal matchup on Tuesday.
