Wednesday's MSG Varsity livecast will be a special one, as Maria Regina and Good Counsel will battle for the CHSAA Bronx/Westchester title.

The is familiar territory for the host Tigers, who have won the last four CHSAA Bronx/Westchester crowns.

Maria Regina — which cruised to an 8-0 win over Cardinal Spellman in its semifinal matchup — enters with a sterling record of 15-1. Megan Caspare bagged an impressive five goals to power the Tigers' offense.

Good Counsel advanced to the finals with a hard-fought 2-0 win over Preston. Amilya Jeanty and Nina Kenny tallied one goal apiece.

Maria Regina swept the regular season series against Good Counsel, scoring a narrow 1-0 victory in the first meeting and a convincing 4-0 win in the rematch.
