Wednesday's Boys Soccer: Clarkstown North Rolls
Alfredo Godinez recorded a hat trick to lift Clarkstown North to a 6-1 victory Nanuet in a boys soccer match Wednesday afternoon. Anthony Barbetto had two goals and an assists in the win. Zach DeMinno had three assists and Vincent Barbetto had a goal and an assist for North, which led 4-1 at halftime. Thomas Murtaugh had a goal for Nanuet.
Irvington 7, Tuckahoe 0: At Irvington, Drew Cohen, Ben Ovetsky and Dan Sherman each had a goal and an assist in the win. Nick Ishoo, Ryan Cooper, Mark Schelp and Cameron Kostyra also scored, and Conor Soravilla had four saves for Irvington (1-0).
Bronxville 5, Gorton 1: At Bronxville, Ilya Dubinski scored twice and recorded an assist for the Broncos (1-1). John Timoney, Nick Capasso and Gabriel Cervantus added goals in the win. Luis Andrade scored for Gorton, which led 1-0 at the half.
North Rockland 6, Spring Valley 0: At North Rockland, Clodalain Lolo and Jheison Villarreal each scored two goals as the Red Raiders cruised to the victory. North Rockland’s defense pressure was too much that , Goalie Brian McNicholas, was barely challenged for a save. North Rockland’s next non-league game is at Albertus Magnus while Spring Valley will next face Ramapo.
