Tuesday's MSG Varsity livecast will feature a showdown between Ardsley and Port Chester.
Ardsley is coming off a 50-22 loss to Dobbs Ferry in its season opener back on December 5. The Panthers are led by standout 126-pounder Drew Longo, who won the Section 1 D-2 title in 2010 and went on to place fifth in the state.
Port Chester — which placed third as a team this past weekend at the Mamaroneck tournament — is 5-3 on the year. The Rams have garnered wins over Westlake, Eastchester, Mamaroneck, Edgemont and Rye. Port Chester is led by 99-pounder Kevin Rodriguez, who has a legit shot of capturing the Section 1 D-1 title.
