Wilton won its first game of the year on Saturday night and the Warriors did it in shutout fashion.
Captain Matt Kobyra led the Warriors with a goal and an assist in the 4-0 victory over Westhill at Terry Conner Ice Rink in Stamford.
Alex Pagliaro opened the scoring in the first period with a short-handed goal. The Westhill power play was a problem for the Vikings as they finished 0-for-8 on the night. Wilton goalie Nick Well stopped 22 shots to secure the shutout.
Leading 2-0 after Kobyra's second period goal, Wilton notched two more goals in the third period to finalize the scoring. Ben Marsh and Dan Miller did the honors for the Warriors.
